In March 1993 Penn Biomedical Support began repairing medical and surgical equipment for doctors in the Reading Pennsylvania area. During this time both of the owners were fulltime employees of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Finding a niche, the part time business grew rapidly until January 1995 when the owners took the newly formed corporation "Penn Biomedical Support, Inc." full time.
On March 12th 1995 the company moved into its original location at 300 Ben Franklin Hwy. E. in Douglassville Pennsylvania.
In August 2001 Penn Biomedical Support moved into its newly built 8000 sq. ft. technical facility in Blandon Pennsylvania. The new ISO9000 compliant facility boasts a NIST traceable repair and calibration lab, a 2000 sq. ft. technical training facility, support services and corporate offices.
Since then the company has continued to grow adding additional services such as medical gas testing, Audiometer certification services and an in-house instrument sharpening service.
