Cabling Installation Technician
Penn Biomedical Support, Inc. is a rapidly growing PA based company providing installation of medical equipment systems and computer communication networks. In addition, we offer a complete range of clinical engineering and information technology installations, inspections, repairs and remediation services.
We are seeking an experienced Cabling Installation Technician able to provide cable installations as well as installation of medical products to area facilities based out of Towson, MD.
General duties include but are not limited to:

Installation of UTP/STP (CAT3/CAT5/CAT6) and Fiber optic cabling to established standards

Testing & Certification of CAT5/CAT6 and Fiber optic cabling using Fluke test equipment
-
Physical assembly and installation of hardware and systems (Racks/Cableways/Systems)

Configuration and verification testing of basic network devices
The ideal candidate would have:
-
AS in Electronic Technology or Computer Sciences
-
Working knowledge of computer systems and networks
-
BISCI Certification (RCDD, ITS Installer, or NTS)
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Strong customer service, time-management and organizational skills
-
A professional attitude, be reliable, trustworthy and detail oriented
-
The ability to work with a team and function with little supervision
-
A current drivers license and an excellent driving record
-
The ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
